Lundgren Tours is a themed guided coach tour business led by an energetic and entertaining guide, Rob Jones. As well as informing, he also performs for his customers. He dresses in costume as a Viking Warrior for a tour of Holy Island and Bamburgh, a convincing ‘Ron Weasley’ for Harry Potter themed tours of Alnwick Castle and a ‘Jon Snow’ character for a Game of Thrones themed tour of Hadrian’s Wall.
For each tour, Rob combines the history of the location with a theme, making the tour experience fun and exciting.
Rob is supported operationally by his parents and the Lundgren Tours team were delighted to win the Travellers Choice Award for Tripadvisor reviews for the second year running. This puts them in the top 10% of attractions worldwide.
They have provided around 50 physical tours this year as well as around 10 virtual tours. Coach trips are provided every weekend from Newcastle until mid-December.
