Global digital consultancy, Monstarlab, has secured two industry heavyweights, based out of the Newcastle office to spearhead the continued expansion of the UK team. The move will further boost the company’s strategy practice, which has played a key role in new client wins across the education, legal and the public sectors over the last year.
The strategy practice sits alongside the experience, technology and data practices to help clients such as Fujitsu, Avon and The Prince’s Trust deliver innovative and disruptive digital solutions. David Haley and Kevin Telford join as strategy consultants in public sector and financial services respectively and will help to drive growth in these two key sectors for the business in Newcastle and beyond.
David Haley brings 30 years experience in managing complex contracts and deliverables including Benefit Reform and major transformation programmes focused on infrastructure, Cloud and improved Citizen Services. David has a strong track record working with Civil Servants, Ministers and has represented previous organisations, at Public Accounts and Select Committee hearings in Westminster.
Kevin Telford has worked with some of the UK’s biggest financial organisations, including Natwest, Barclaycard and VISA, has influenced the development of key consumer rights and privacy policies such as the development of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). He will leverage his extensive expertise in enabling data driven innovation, digital transformation, and agile ways of working to enhance Monstarlab’s offer to clients in financial services and insurance.

Monstarlab was able to open the office in Newcastle following funding through the North of Tyne Inward Investment Fund and has played a key part over the last 12 months in raising the profile of the city at national and international events alongside strategic partners, destination, and investment organisation NewcastleGateshead Initiative (NGI).
