Gateshead College is positioned firmly at the heart of the North East business community and works with employers, from large multinational organisations to local SMEs, to provide them with the skills they need to grow their business and maintain their competitive edge.

Based in the North East of England, the College offers post-16 vocational education and A Levels, apprenticeships, part-time adult courses and higher education, along with workforce development and training for the unemployed to over 10,000 people every year.

More than £75million has been invested in six campuses across the North East region, each complete with industry standard equipment and dedicated trade facilities including construction trade workshops, automotive and engineering workshops, training kitchens, two commercial restaurants and a hair salon and spa, as well as well as an off-site gift shop, handPICKED based at intu Metrocentre, offering a unique space for retail work experience.
