Gaydio

Gaydio is the UK’s LGBTQ+ station! They are one of the leading entertainment, and education platforms dedicated to championing our culture, amplifying LGBTQ+ voices, and connecting our community.

They proudly operate as a Community Interest Company (CIC), meaning all profits are reinvested to support LGBTQ+ people through their programming, events, and outreach.

Broadcasting on FM in Manchester (88.4FM) and Brighton (97.8FM), and on DAB across Greater London, Manchester, Brighton, Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Liverpool, Bristol, Sheffield, Leeds, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and Portsmouth. Listeners can also tune in via the Gaydio website, mobile app, or smart speaker – just say “Play Gaydio”.

Founded in Manchester in 2006, Gaydio became a national brand in 2013 following the acquisition of London-based GaydarRadio. In 2018, they launched a dedicated FM service in Brighton to complement their growing DAB reach.

They collaborate with brands, businesses, and charities to deliver creative campaigns, inclusive content, and impactful experiences that authentically resonate with LGBTQ+ audiences across the UK.
