Sunderland Empire, the biggest theatre in the North East has raised the curtain on a host of new advertising, sponsorship and venue hire packages set to give businesses the opportunity to take centre stage and align with the iconic and established brand.
The Grade 2 listed theatre welcomes in excess of 300,000 visitors each year to an array of West End spectaculars, many of which are North East only debuts and therefore has a highly engaged and receptive audience from across the region spanning from Northumberland to Teesside.
Bespoke advertising packages can be tailored to the company needs or to a specific show audience. A range of in-venue and digital advertising opportunities are now available including email banner advertising to 90,000 and print advertising to 85,000 via the popular What’s On Guide brochure. Alongside an array of in-venue opportunities including washroom advertising, exit leafleting and pop up advertising options.
Sponsorship opportunities include naming rights to the exclusive 32 seater Ambassador Lounge, which was recently sponsored by Smooth North East and the opulent Ambassador Box, which seats 4 and benefits from prominent positioning in the auditorium. The yearlong sponsorships include generous ticket allocations for corporate entertaining and staff incentives, complimentary drinks packages and stand out branding and advertising opportunities through digital, print and in-venue options.
A limited number of short term Corporate Box Passes are also available this festive season giving companies a great opportunity to entertain in the opulent theatre surroundings. With a busy Autumn/Winter season in full swing including the triumphant return of The Bodyguard, Dolly Parton’s rip-roaring production, 9 to 5 the Musical, pantomime season with Cinderella and the hilarious whodunit Curtains starring Jason Manford, alongside comedy, opera and ballet this is an optimum time to align with the theatre and become a corporate partner.
