Fenwick Newcastle announces the relaunch of its Roof Thirty Nine restaurant for 2023, with the arrival of its new spring menu available from today.
The new menu features a range of new and exciting dishes, carefully curated to compliment the al fresco rooftop setting. From light and refreshing salads, to succulent grilled meats, the menu includes the 10oz flat iron steak, served with grilled asparagus and black truffle hollandaise, along with the grilled chicken skewer served with spelt tabbouleh and rose harissa yoghurt.
Dishes have been created to perfectly capture the flavours and spirit of the season including a range of vegetarian and vegan options such as Coal-roasted celeriac “Milanese”, walnut ketchup, parsley & celery salad, Burrata with broad bean & Amalfi lemon salsa and Aubergine steak, sourdough, tomato & chilli sauce, dukkah.
Mark Reid, Executive Chef at Fenwick, said: “Our reimagined spring menu for Roof Thirty Nine is inspired by our environment; a beautiful al fresco dining space, home to a charcoal grill & oven, complimented by an imaginative drinks list. Our simple, yet intriguing plates of food created from the finest, freshest ingredients have been designed to be enjoyed no matter what time of day. Delicious for a decadent brunch or leisurely lunch as they would be accompanied by a refreshing sundown cocktail.”
In addition to the new food offerings, Roof Thirty-Nine has also revamped its cocktail menu, with a range of spring-inspired cocktails that are sure to delight.
Guests can enjoy a multitude of refreshing flavours with signature cocktail blends including the ‘Whiskey Peach’, a blend of sweet honey, whisky, crème de peche, sweet & sour with green tea or the Rosé Paloma, the perfect drink for a summer’s day, tequila, grapefruit soda, rosé, fresh lime juice, thyme and fresh grapefruit.
