Lumo, the official rail partner of Gateshead FC has proudly announced details of an extra service to help Heed Army fans return from London to Tyneside on Saturday 11 May 2024.
Fans heading to the Isuzu FA Trophy Final at Wembley can now book on either the 07:12, or 10:22, Lumo departures from Newcastle which travel non-stop to London King’s Cross connecting into the tube to arrive well ahead of the 16:15 kick-off against Solihull Moors FC.
Lumo has worked at speed with industry partners at Network Rail to enable the additional departure from London King’s Cross at 20:26 which will see fans arrive back in Newcastle at 23:10.

To further support pre-match excitement on the day of the final, Lumo will be specially branding a train with Gateshead FC ‘Heed Army Express’ designs across one of the operator’s all-electric trains.
