BJSS, the Leeds based technology and engineering consultancy, today announces it has opened a new office in Newcastle. The company aims to hire 40 new employees in the region by 2022, with all new recruits adopting BJSS’ company-wide hybrid working policy.
Located along the city’s engineering and tech powerhouse hub, Quayside, in Rotterdam House, the new Newcastle office supports BJSS’ already strong national and international presence of 15 offices in locations across the UK, Europe, US and Australia. Newcastle has one of the fastest-growing tech clusters in the UK, which the northeast team is set to tap into as it grows throughout the year.
The initial focus of the Newcastle operation is to elevate BJSS’ well-established work within the public sector, with a core client being the NHS in the region. In addition, the team will support developing BJSS’ technology, engineering, consulting, cloud, data, and AI services. The company will be recruiting for various software delivery roles, including platform and infrastructure engineers. As the team grows, there will be increased demand for operation managers, client service people, tech consultants and strategists.
Stuart Bullock, Managing Director, BJSS, said: “Expansion of the business continues to be important for BJSS. Newcastle’s exciting tech scene offers vast opportunities for us to continue growing and working with highly skilled and talented people.
