Treetop Golf, the popular adventure-packed mini-golf venue at Metrocentre, is launching new Toddler Morning sessions. Starting Tuesday 17th September, and running weekly until December (excluding school holidays), the sessions will take place every Tuesday from 9:30am to 11am, offering a welcoming and relaxed environment for children aged 0-5 and their families.
The Toddler Morning sessions are designed to create a comfortable, safe and enjoyable atmosphere, specifically for pre-schoolers to experience the thrill of mini-golf in an environment suited to them. Similar to Treetop Golf’s quiet sessions, the lights and sounds will be lowered for a serene atmosphere, that is perfect for little ones. Ata cost of £6 per child, and no fee for accompanying adults who are not playing, these sessions are encourage an inclusive experience for all.
Rachel Alderson, General Manager of Treetop Golf Metrocentre, shared their enthusiasm for the new sessions saying: “We’re delighted to be introducing an alternative experience for families with young children to enjoy quality time together in a fun and safe setting. These sessions will offer a welcoming space for parents to gather for a weekly coffee catch-up, that’s sociable, and relaxing, whilst kids are enjoying a great activity.”

In addition to the mini-golf adventure, guests can enjoy a menu filled with delicious locally baked treats and refreshments at Treetop Golf’s Jungle Buzz Café. From freshly brewed coffee by Pink Lane Coffee Collective to sweet treats courtesy of Cake Stories, the café adds an elevated experience to Treetop Golf.
Treetop Golf officially opened at Metrocentre, Gateshead, in October 2023, becoming the fifth UK destination for the brand. The venue offers two unique 18-hole courses: the Tropical Trail and the Ancient Explorer, filled with vibrant themes, creative challenges, and interactive features. Every adventure concludes at the Bonus 19th Hole, where players have a chance to win a free game and capture memories in the venue’s photo booth.
