The water company is holding its first Rock ‘n′ Roll Bingo at The Biscuit Factory, Newcastle on Friday October 26, 2018 at 7.00pm.
It will be less ‘eyes down′ and more ‘jump and jive′ at the evening, where regular bingo numbers will be replaced with song titles for guests to mark off as the songs play.
Funds raised at the evening will go towards Northumbrian Water′s charity partner, WaterAid, which helps to deliver clean water and sanitation to some of the world′s poorest people.
Businesses across the region that take a table, will enjoy a two-course dinner, followed by a night of top-class entertainment with bingo cards included.
A table of ten costs £500 and sponsorship opportunities are also available from £350.
Andrew Blakemore, Chairman of the Northumbrian WaterAid Committee, said: “We′re very excited about our inaugural Rock ‘n′ Roll Bingo – it′s going to be a bingo event with a difference!
“We often take for granted how important a sustainable supply of water is, but across the world, one in nine people don′t have clean water close to their home, while one in three people don′t have a decent toilet of their own.
“We′re always looking for new ways to raise money for WaterAid and this certainly offers a fun way of doing that, while transforming lives in the process.”
