SIX Rooftop recognised with a national diners’ award

Following on from its recent awards successes including securing two AA rosettes for culinary excellence and being listed in the Michelin Guide, SIX Rooftop, at The Baltic, operated by Pneuma Hospitality Group, has now been presented with a prestigious OpenTable Diners’ Choice Award.

Achieving OpenTable’s Diners’ Choice Award is no small feat, as it reflects consistent praise from real customers who vouch for the restaurant’s food quality, service, and ambience. SIX Rooftop’s commitment to excellence in every aspect of the dining experience offered has deservedly earned it a coveted place on Newcastle’s fine dining map, with diners praising everything from its carefully curated seasonal tasting menus to its attentive and personable service, earning consistently high review scores.

Pneuma Hospitality’s Food Director Greg Lambert’s simple seasonal food philosophy has started putting the restaurant on Newcastle’s fine dining map. This is part of the reason why once more the restaurant has been recognised with a coveted award.

The Diners’ Choice Award recognises top-rated restaurants based on authentic feedback from OpenTable diners after they have dined and experienced the restaurant’s hospitality for themselves, rating their experience from one to five.

Each month, OpenTable compiles this diner feedback to determine which restaurants deliver consistently outstanding food, service, and ambience worth honouring across a variety of categories including, Best Overall, Best Ambience and Best Service, with the highest-rated spots earning the prestigious Diners’ Choice Award.

SIX Rooftop’s recent reimagination of both its bar and restaurant spaces, with the added presence of an open kitchen and Chef’s Table, has also played no small part in helping place the restaurant on the city’s foodie map, and not forgetting the spectacular views from the now iconic restaurant located on the top floor of The Baltic over of the city’s skyline.
